How do I book a desert tour?
Booking is simple: browse our tours page, pick your favourite itinerary, select your travel dates and number of travellers, then follow the checkout steps. You pay a small deposit online to confirm, and the balance is settled on arrival. You receive your confirmation by email and WhatsApp within 24 hours.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance, especially from March to May and September to November, our busiest season. That said, we regularly accept bookings a few days before departure when the desert camps still have space — message us on WhatsApp to check availability.
Do I need to pay a deposit to confirm my booking?
Yes. To guarantee your place at the desert camp, we ask for a small deposit online, paid securely via Stripe or PayPal. The remaining balance is paid in cash or by card on the day of departure.
Which desert tour is best for me?
It depends on your time and travel style. If you only have a few days, our 3-day Marrakech to Merzouga tour is ideal. For a more remote, off-the-beaten-track adventure, choose the 4-day Erg Chigaga tour. Have a full week? The 5-day Sahara expedition combines dunes, gorges and kasbahs. Not sure? Do your tours include hotel pickup?
Yes — most of our tours include free hotel pickup in Marrakech. Depending on the itinerary we also arrange departures from Zagora, M'Hamid and Merzouga. We confirm your exact pickup time and driver details by WhatsApp or email the day before departure.
Are the tours private or shared?
Both are available. Our standard departures run in small groups of no more than 8–12 travellers for a friendly, comfortable atmosphere. Prefer privacy? Choose a private tour and enjoy the desert exclusively with your family or friends.
Which currencies can I pay in?
Prices are displayed in EUR, MAD or USD — switch at any time with the currency selector in the header. Your deposit is charged in the currency you choose. The balance on arrival is usually paid in euros (EUR) or Moroccan dirhams (MAD).
Is my deposit payment secure?
Yes. Every deposit is processed through Stripe or PayPal with bank-grade 256-bit SSL encryption. We never see or store your card details, and you always receive a receipt and a booking reference.
Can I pay the balance on arrival?
Yes. The balance of your tour is paid in cash or by card at the start of your journey, at the pickup point in Marrakech, Zagora, M'Hamid or Merzouga. No prepayment is required beyond the small deposit.
What is the best season to visit the Sahara?
The best months are March to May and September to November, when days are warm and nights are pleasant. Winter (December–February) brings cool nights and clear starry skies, while summer (June–August) is very hot during the day — we then plan the itinerary around the cooler hours. The desert is beautiful all year round.
Is Morocco safe for travellers?
Yes. Morocco is one of the most welcoming and safest destinations in Africa. Our guides accompany you throughout the tour, stay with you at the desert camp, and handle all logistics — so you can relax and enjoy the journey. Travel insurance is always recommended.
Do I need a visa to visit Morocco?
Most nationalities (including EU, US, UK and Canada) do not need a visa for stays under 90 days — just a passport valid for at least 6 months. Rules can change, so please check with the nearest Moroccan embassy before you travel.
