Inspiration Desert was born in the dunes of the Moroccan Sahara. What started as a handful of camel treks from Zagora has grown into a trusted travel agency welcoming travellers from every corner of the world.
From our base at the gateway of the Sahara, we design authentic desert experiences: camel treks at sunset, nights under the stars in a Berber camp, 4x4 safaris through Erg Chigaga and Merzouga, and multi-day tours from Marrakech.

Founder & Lead Desert Guide — Zagora
Daoud grew up in Zagora, at the very doorstep of the Sahara. His father herded camels on the same trails Daoud now guides — and that family heritage is the soul of Inspiration Desert.
As a certified desert guide, Daoud has led hundreds of journeys across Erg Chigaga, Erg Chebbi and the Draa Valley. He speaks French, English and Arabic, and delights in sharing the stories, music and traditions of the Berber people.
Under his leadership, every detail — from the comfort of the desert camp to the warmth of the welcome — is carefully looked after, so you can simply enjoy the journey.
